Prepare Your Home for a Smooth Flooring Installation

To help ensure a smooth and efficient installation, all preparation should be completed before our installation team arrives at your home. Taking these steps in advance allows our installers to begin work immediately and helps protect your belongings during the process.

Preparation Checklist

✔ Clear all floors and surrounding surfaces of personal items
✔ Disconnect televisions and electronic devices
✔ Remove bedding and disassemble beds if necessary
✔ Clear wall units, bookcases, and furniture areas of any small or personal items
✔ Remove hanging mirrors, artwork, and wall décor
✔ Empty closets and relocate low-hanging clothing to (closets should have 2' clearance from the floor to allow work)
✔ Move large or delicate items such as pianos, safes, aquariums, and adjustable beds

Basic furniture moving is included as part of your installation service. However, furniture disassembly or reassembly may require an additional charge.
